This news just in from an article in the Washington Post.
As I’ve always said, anti-intellectualism is rampant in Christianity, especially American Christianity. Although I can’t prove this, it is certainly reasonable to speculate that the modern mainstream anti-intellectual/anti-historical/emotion based/”blind faith”/just live a good life and don’t worry about reason counterfeit Christian culture is, in part, responsible for why the more intellectually oriented kids are either leaving Christianity or never buying in to it to begin with.
