Moral debates are alive and well in our day, but rarely do you hear someone ask about the foundations of morality itself. Where does morality come from? What is the ultimate explanation for saying that human beings ought to do good and avoid evil? Can one consistently maintain that God does not exist and yet still have an adequate account of morality? Does the atheist have a good justification for moral obligations?

 

In this episode of Spiritual Combat, I’ll discuss the inseverable connection between God and morality and why the existence of moral obligation is a path to knowing that God exists.
