Can Atheism Account For Morality?

Can atheism account for morality? A lot of atheists think it can but those who say this usually haven’t thought through their position very well.

This video is a good example. While it is true that atheists can know right and wrong and are therefore able to do good actions, still that doesn’t mean that atheism itself is a worldview that can account for things like moral obligation.

Watch this video to see how Frank Turek does a fine job of pointing this out to an atheist student who questions the necessary connection between God and morality.
